Submit an event
There are a few things you should know before submitting your event:
- This calendar feeds our events newsletter, which is a lightly-curated list of upcoming local events sent once a week. Since there is so much going on, we cannot include all of the events from the community calendar in those emails. Events that are submitted at least a week in advance will have a better chance of getting in the newsletter.
- Our calendar is focused on events in the city of Madison. We have to limit our calendar's scope to keep things manageable.
- If something on the calendar is incorrect, you can suggest an edit. You can find the "suggest edit" link in the bottom left hand corner of all event listing pages.
