🚕 The city is expanding accessible taxi services in town.
- In an effort to bring more wheelchair-accessible vehicles to Madison, the city has launched a $250,000 grant program.
- Currently, only Union Cab provides accessible taxi service in Madison and its small number of cars are showing their age. An accessible cab costs between $50,000-60,000 a piece, according to the city.

🎶 Boneset Records will close this summer.
- The North Street record shop announced June 10 will be its last day.
- The store's owner is moving to Milwaukee and said she'll "be focusing on an online store, pop up events, and working with friends to keep the dream alive."
💉 MMSD is keeping its Covid-19 vaccine mandate for staff.
- The school board voted against ending its Covid-19 vaccine requirement for district staff. The directive has been in place since fall 2021.
- In their reasoning, some board members cited the potential rise in Covid-19 testing costs following the cancellation of the federal public health emergency on May 11, according to Channel 3000.
🔥 UWPD is investigating arson on campus.
- University of Wisconsin police responded to reports of smoke at Sterling Hall Tuesday night. Officers arrived and found the remnants of two fires that went out on their own.
- UWPD says the fires caused roughly $10,000 in damage and were set intentionally.

- Via Isthmus: "The cookbook, like the restaurant, evokes Bologna, the city in Italy where family introduced Mangano to cooking. The region is known for great bread stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella.
Often asked if he would ever publish his recipes, [chef-owner Francesco] Mangano finally teamed with Lindsay Christians, a food writer and editor at The Capital Times. The duo spent the last year choosing from some 1,000 recipes Mangano has used at Osteria Papavero."
